Why visit temples? How does it benefit you?

Why visit temples? How does it benefit you?

There are thousands of temples all over India in different size, shape and locations but not all of them are considered to be built the Vedic way. Generally, a temple should be located at a place where earth’s magnetic wave path passes through densely. It can be in the outskirts of a town/village or city, or in middle of the dwelling place, or on a hilltop. The essence of visiting a temple is discussed here.

Because of its location where high magnetic values are available, the main Idol is placed in the core center, and also because they place a copper plate written with some Vedic scripts, which is buried, beneath the Main Idol’s placement known as “Garbhagriha”, the copper absorbs the earth’s magnetic waves and radiates to the surroundings. Thus a person who regularly visits a temple and does a clockwise circle of the Main Idol’s placement automatically receive the beamed magnetic values absorbed in his body. This is very slow and a regular visit will make him absorb more energy. What scientifically it is known is positive energy. In addition, the Sanctum sanctorum is completely enclosed on three sides. The effect of all energies is very high in here. The lamp that is lit radiates the heat and light energy. The ringing of the bells and the chanting of prayers gives the sound energy. The fragrance from the flowers and the burning of camphor release the chemical energy. The effect of all these energies is activated by the positive energy that comes out of the idol. This is in addition to the north/south pole magnetic energy that is absorbed by the copper plate and utensils that are kept in the Garbagriha. The water is used for the Pooja is mixed with Cardamom, Benzoine, Holy Basil (Tulsi), Clove, etc. are mixed that is known as “Theertham”. This water becomes more energized because it receives the positive ness of all these energies combined. When persons go to the temple for the Deepaaraadhana, and when the doors open up, the positive energy gushes out onto the persons who are there. The water that is sprinkled onto the people passes on the energy to all. That is the reason why, men are not allowed to wear shirts to the temple and ladies have to wear more ornaments because it is through these jewels (metal) that positive energy is absorbed in ladies. It is proved that Theertham is a very good blood purifier, as it is highly energized. Hence it is given as prasadam to the devotees.

Lost energy in a day’s work is regained this way and one gets being refreshed slightly. The positive energy that is spread out in the entire temple and especially around where the main idol is placed, are simply absorbed in one’s body and mind, for those who take a regular clock-wise round circle every day. In addition at the temples they offer holy water about three spoons. This water is mainly a source of magneto therapy kind because usually they place the copper water vessel at the Garbhagriha. It also contains the values of cardamom, clove, saffron, etc to add taste and Tulsi (holy Basil) leaves are put into the water to increase its medicinal value! The clove essence protects one from tooth decay, the saffron & Tulsi leave essence protects one from common cold and cough, cardamom and benzoine known as Pachha Karpuram, acts as a mouth refreshing agents! This way, one’s health too is protected, by regularly visiting the Temples. The entire thing just become more energized locally, that the visit and consuming the holy water and the other offerings are worth for the visitor’s health and longevity.

The scientific and research part of the practices are well camouflaged as “elder’s instructions” or “granny’s teaching’s” which should be obeyed as a mark of respect so as to once again, avoid stress to the mediocre brains.

WhatsApp gets voice messaging feature

WhatsApp gets voice messaging feature

The instant messaging app has been gifted the voice messaging feature that imitates the Push-To-Talk like function.
Popular multi-platform instant messaging service - WhatsApp has rolled out a new major feature voice messaging for all its applications based on different mobile platforms. WhatsApp chief executive officer and co-founder, Jan Koum, informed AllThingsD about the roll out of the new feature. The feature has already been released for Android version of WhatsApp while the same for its other mobile platform versions - iOS, BlackBerry, Windows Phone and Nokia S40 - would be released soon.

WhatsApp has gained as much popularity across different mobile platforms as the BlackBerry Messenger for the BlackBerry platform. However, off late there has been rise in WhatsApp like services such as Line, WeChat, Viber, Tango, and more. WeChat has been aggressively pushing the feature rich mobile app for the Android as well as iOS platform in which the voice messaging is one of the highlights.

To use the voice messaging feature, use the mic icon that appears in the right corner of the app screen next to the text box. Users need to tap and hold that mic icon to record messages up to two minutes long for sending it to a contact or a group.

With the new voice messaging feature, WhatsApp competes with several other third party apps such as Skype, Line, WeChat, and many more. Here is exactly where Google lacks in providing support for Voice Messaging through the new Hangouts service. However, Instant Messaging has just got interesting for the BlackBerry Messenger for Android and iOS platforms are expected to arrive in couple of months from now.

Google device manager to locate Android devices

Google device manager to locate Android devices

The much anticipated feature is coming to devices later this month.

Internet giant Google has announced that it will soon be making available its much anticipated Android device manager service to Android users.
Android device manager service
The Android device manager service is expected to be similar to those third party applications that help users to locate and track their devices, but will be better integrated. The application would allow users to locate their device if they have misplaced them in home or at office, users can simply log in to the web interface and make their device ring at their loudest volume to know where exactly did they forget it.
Also the service would allow users to locate their devices if they get stolen or lost outside the home or office. Using the application, users would be able to pin point the physical current location of the device and would also be able to secure their confidential data if they think the device has gone beyond their reach.
Android device manager service
Google has also revealed that the devices will be getting the service application combo by the end of this month. The service is likely to be a free one but there can be a yearly or monthly fees associated with it. But more clarity will only be coming once the service is officially available. The services will be compatible for devices running Google android version 2.2 and above.

Why can't you use 100% of your Hard-Disk space?

Why can't you use 100% of your Hard-Disk space?

This is the question that many of us will have in their minds but hardly anyone knows the actual reason behind this. I too had the same question in my mind and after some real digging I know the reason now.

So here is the reason..

All the softwares calculate the space in a way different than the harddisk manufacturers. This is because any software calculate the space in powers of 2 only. So, for softwares 1KB = 2^10Bytes = 2014 Bytes.

On the other hand, manufacturers take 1000Bytes instead of 1024Bytes as 1KB, 1000KB instead of 1024KB as 1MB and so on..May be they do this so their calculations become easy.

Now, let me give you a small example to make the concept more clear.

For a Manufacturer, 500GB hard disk is:

500 x 1000 x 1000 x 1000 = 500,000,000,000 Bytes

Now, for a software or a computer system 500,000,000,000 Bytes memory space is:
500,000,000,000/(1024*1024*1024) = 465.66 GB

This same thing applies to your pen-drives also.(Your 8GB pen-drive will actually be 7.45 - 7.50GB).

One more thing to note here is:

For 8GB we are almost losing 0.5GB (We get 7.45GB , Do the calculations)

For 250GB we are almost losing 20GB (We get 232.83GB , Do the calculations)
For 500GB we are almost losing 35GB (calculations shown in example)

This shows that, more the space we buy, more we will be losing. Sad but true.

Now you know where the remaining memory space is going. Right into the manufacturer's pockets.

I hope this will be very helpful to you. Your comments and suggestions are welcome :)
